the top of your writeup

2) Slides Submission
for 1-minute Elevator Pitch
In each category, two top
teams will emerge from the Team Pitching round in the morning session.
They are then required to deliver a 1-minute Elevator Pitch to special
judges from all category sponsors in the afternoon session.
Combining the performance in the morning session and the 1-minute Elevator Pitch, the Champion and
the Runner-up Team will be decided for each category.
Hence, in addition to the PowerPoint slides for
the 7-minute Team Pitch, each team is to prepare and submit PowerPoint slides
for the 1-minute Elevator Pitch. It should summarize your solution clearly and
convincingly.

your poly name, team name, category name and problem statement on the
first slide

lengthy words and fine print
- Do not

Sept 2022 (Thurs), 9AM sharp
Email address: [email protected]
Note: You do not need to email us your 7-min Team Pitch and prototype.
3) Preparation for Category
Finals
There are two pitches in Category Finals: Team Pitch by all teams and Elevator Pitch by the top two teams of each
category. Every team needs to prepare for both pitches in advance.
a) 7-minute Team Pitch
- You can use any tool for your slides and prototype.
Your prototype can be mock-up screens or working programs. Whether it runs locally on your laptop or on the Cloud, you decide.
You are to convince and impress the judges and outdo other teams. So be creative and convincing!
- Make sure your laptop is fully charged for the 7-minute Team Pitch.
Bring along your charger, and HDMI adaptor, if necessary.
-
For each team, only ONE (1) laptop is allowed for the Team Pitch.
Load it with all your slides and prototype.
-
If your materials are in the Cloud, you must be prepared to switch to your own Hotspot
in case WiFi fails during the Team Pitch.
-
Rehearse your 7-minute Team Pitch rigorously.
b) 1-minute Elevator Pitch
-
You should have submitted your PowerPoint slides for the Elevator Pitch at least two days before,
so now you just need to rehearse your 1-minute Elevator Pitch rigorously.
-
Your PowerPoint slides for the Elevator Pitch will be installed by the organzer in their laptop, so you do not
need to use your laptop for the Elevator Pitch. But you must memorize your pitch very well.
When it is announced that your team is one of the top two, you will have no time to prepare but come up to pitch immediately.
